KUALA LUMPUR: The Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) has dismissed allegations from a non-governmental organisation claiming it has failed to issue guidelines to its prosecutors for movement control order (MCO) cases, which resulted in heavy-handed punishments to violators.
Attorney General Tan Sri Idrus Harun said in a statement that guidelines and directives to the Deputy Public Prosecutors (DPPs) were issued on a regular basis.
