SIBU: The government has been urged to set up a mobile banking service to help rural folk in the Bakun hydro-dam area who are eligible for financial aid from both state and federal governments.
Sibu Kenyah Uma Baha Women Association chairman Umie Liau said on Monday (April 27) that such a facility would help save time and the cost of travelling to claim the aid given to ease the burden of low-income groups during the movement control order (MCO).
