ALOR SETAR: Heavy rain battered several areas here in Kedah, causing flash floods and trail of destruction on Wednesday (April 22) and Thursday (April 23).
Among the most affected districts was Sungai Petani where the 3pm thunderstorm caused flooding in areas like Taman Beringin, Taman Semarak, Kampung Raja, Batu Lintang, Sungai Pasir, Jalan Pekan Lama, Jalan Lencongan Barat, Jalan Padang Temusu and Jalan Kampung Raja.
