Cement industry thanks Government for green light to resume work

KUALA LUMPUR: The Cement and Concrete Association of Malaysia (C&CA) which represents the cement industry in the country commends the Government’s decision and applauds the International Trade and Industry Ministry for their prompt action in allowing cement plants to resume operations to serve the local construction industry and export markets.

C&CA chairman Datuk Yeoh Soo Keng said in a statement that cement is the fundamental building material of the construction industry, essential for the continuity of critical construction projects.
