7pm, not 10pm: S'wak makes U-turn on food trader operating hours

KUCHING: The Sarawak disaster management committee has gone back on its decision to allow food traders to operate until 10pm during Ramadan following public feedback on the issue.

State Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said the traders would be allowed to operate from 7am to 7pm in line with the opening hours for essential services imposed by the state during the movement control order (MCO).
