KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah government should call off the other two days the state assembly is supposed to sit as it had already met the state's constitutional requirements with last Thursday's (April 16) opening by the Head of State, says Datuk Yong Teck Lee.

The former Sabah chief minister and Sabah Progressive Party president said that opening of the state assembly on Thursday fulfilled the constitutional requirement under Article 21(1) of the state constitution for the assembly to meet once in six months.
