MCO: MMEA records 45% drop in vessel traffic in Straits Of Malacca


JOHOR BARU: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has recorded about 45% drop in vessel traffic along the Straits Of Malacca, which used to be a busy route before the movement control order (MCO) was imposed.

State health and environment committee chairman R. Vidyananthan said there would be 200 to 300 vessels that pass the straits on a daily basis before the MCO began on March 18.
