Penang JPJ officer enlists to help sew PPE


PETALING JAYA: A Road Transport Department (JPJ) worker in Penang has put to use his tailoring skills by sewing some 100 pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE) for frontliners battling Covid-19.

Shaiful Nizam Abd Bakar, 40, who is an assistant enforcement officer from the JPJ community service unit in Penang, said a friend had approached him for help after the latter received material from non-governmental organisations.
