KUCHING (Bernama): The Sarawak government has decided not to allow Ramadan and Gawai bazaars this year to curb the spread of the Covid-19 infection, said Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg (pic).
As such, he said, traders and consumers are encouraged to use online transactions, through e-Ramadan bazaar, to supply or order food, or other necessities, during the fasting month and also for their preparations for Gawai Day, which is celebrated on June 1.
