More MCO violations: Indonesians fined for loitering at a hut


KUALA LUMPUR: Four Indonesians, who loitered at a hut during the movement control order (MCO), were fined RM600 in default of a month in jail each by a Magistrate’s Court in Ampang here.

Magistrate Farah Nasihah Annuar on Thursday (April 2) passed the sentence on Abdul Halim Saiful Arifin, 40; Bidawi Ali, 45; Rasban Sali, 54; and Sugeng Teriman, 54, here on Thursday (April 2) after they pleaded guilty to the offence under Rule 3(1) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures Within the Infected Local Areas) Regulations 2020.
