Singer Syuhada’s career not fuelled by gossip

DUE to a lack of gossip and sensational news surrounding local singer Syuhada Amin, 24, many assume that it is because her career is “moving slowly”.

This prompted the singer, whose real name is Wan Syuhada Md Amin, to come forward and deny that she had not dropped off the radar after the release of her second single Bukan Dia in 2016, which garnered millions of views on YouTube.“I’m aware that gossip and sensational stories help budding artistes get recognition. But I don’t feel the need to try and spark gossip, ” she told Harian Metro.The singer, who bagged the TV9 inaugural Idola Kecil title in 2008, said she was comfortable developing her career at her own pace.
