KUALA LUMPUR: If the police finds that you have knowingly withheld information about being in contact with someone from the tabligh cluster, strict action will be taken.
“From our screenings, more than half came from the tabligh cluster, so that’s why we urge them to come forward.
“If we find any that are hiding people from doing screenings, we will take action. I won’t announce what type of action we will take now, but when we do, the media will be informed, ” said Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, in a press conference at Bukit Aman on Tuesday (March 31).
He also warned all to not create fake news that could disrupt national unity.
“Covid-19 doesn’t not recognise race, religion or status. What we should do is to help one another. Not curse one another. We are all in this together, ” he said.
