BEIJING: Fundraising campaigns have been initiated by groups of Malaysians across China to purchase personal protective equipment (PPE) for Malaysia’s frontliners. Willy Cheng from Shanghai said he and some others had been following news of the outbreak in Malaysia.
“The more we read, the more worried we became. Our frontliners are not well equipped. There is a shortage of everything at hospitals. “There is not even a second to waste here so we decided to do something, ” said the 48-year-old businessman.
