KUALA LUMPUR, March 30 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) says it has never issued a statement that members of the public should contact it if they did not get government aid, as said in a viral message.
The commission denied the allegation that is believed to be referring to the special Covid-19 aid announced by the government recently.
"The MACC denies the claim that the public should contact it at its toll-free number if they do not get the government assistance, as claimed in WhatsApp messages and on social media today, ” it said in a statement Monday (March 30). – Bernama
