ACTRESS Lana Nodin has stopped sharing cooking videos on her Instagram during the MCO after her friend from overseas commented that some Malaysians are too extravagant during times of crisis.

BH Hip, the entertainment pullout of Berita Harian, reported that Lana, who is a mother of two, explained in detail through Instagram TV (IGTV) why she no longer posted her cooking recipes on social media.

“A friend from Italy was shocked at the way Malaysians cooked extravagantly during the MCO.”

“Over there, they have to ration their food and not be wasteful.”

She was sad to hear that a family has to share two or three eggs.

Lana, who is married to American volleyball player David Mckenzie, said: “I know everyone has their rights. I just hope that we would be more careful in case we face a similar situation as Italy.”
