PETALING JAYA: The Police Family Association (Perkep) has secured raincoats, face masks, hand sanitisers and gloves for personnel who are on duty.
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said they also received food and drinks from Perkep to help those on the front lines during the movement control order (MCO).
"They secured 2,200 face masks, 10 bottles of hand sanitiser, 2,200 pairs of gloves as well as 500 raincoats. We hope these amenities will help spur our personnel to continue their efforts and help with their welfare as well," he said.
Petaling Jaya police headquarters Perkep chairperson Hidayah Hassan said their efforts are aimed at motivating personnel on duty.
"We hope they will continue their efforts in ensuring the security of Malaysians during this time," she said.
ACP Nik Ezanee said the items were distributed to personnel by Petaling Jaya Management Division chief Deputy Supt Norsuhailynirwani Mat Rossid, who represented Perkep.
