A VIDEO of man resembling Huazong president Tan Sri Goh Tian Chuan undergoing a blood test was widely shared on social media, Sin Chew Daily reported.

The footage showed the man having his fingers pricked and his blood examined.

When interviewed, Goh said it was him in the video but that the footage was leaked without his permission.

He revealed that he was a “lab rat” for a rapid Covid-19 test which could give a result under 10 minutes.

Goh, who tested negative for Covid-19, added that if the test worked well, Huazong will be helping the government to bring it into the country.

In a statement on Monday, Goh urged the public to comply with the government’s movement control order (MCO) and stay home.

He also thanked frontliners including medical personnel, police and army as well as members of the media for carrying out their duties under such trying times.

He added that all staff at Huazong have been asked to work from home.
