The Movement Control Order (MCO) triggered a balik kampung scenario - the worst thing that could have happened to contain the spread of Covid 19. But what can we do?

The MCO is intended to enforce 'social distancing'. This works to contain the spread of the virus.

The virus spreads through contact, directly or indirectly. By executing 'social distancing', basically by staying at home, that reduces the chances of an infected individual from spreading the virus to others.

Social distancing however, can be a double-edged sword. It can create an environment of loneliness. Luckily for us, being in the 21st century, we can still connect with our loved ones through the internet.

While it might seem minimal, as individuals not involved in the frontlines, this is the best that we can do. Stay at home and keep in touch with our loved ones.
