AS I drove away from Cherok To’kun Forest Reserve in Bukit Mertajam after interviewing hikers out and about despite the movement control order (MCO), I was stunned to find a football match going on.

It was on Wednesday, the first day of the MCO and there were at least 40 people on the football field, including some spectators. Many of them were children.
