Cops deny issuing fine to man on his way home from shopping

PETALING JAYA: Police have denied issuing a fine, allegedly to a road user in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur who was returning home with his wife after shopping for essential items during the movement control order (MCO) period.

Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Zairulnizam Mohd Zainuddin @ Hilmi said police were advising Malaysians against unnecessary travel during the two-week period, which ends on March 31.
