IJN changes visitation hours, limits number of visitors

PETALING JAYA: The National Heart Institute (IJN) has changed its visitation hours, allowing only two visitors per patient, while children below 12 are banned from entering its premises.

Until the end of the movement control order (MCO) on Mar 31, the new visiting hours are 12.30pm-1.30pm and 6pm-8pm, limited to only two visitors per patient.

“Patients who have a scheduled appointment in the period from Mar 18 to Mar 31 are only allowed to be accompanied by one family member.

“Children aged 12 and below are strictly not allowed to enter IJN until further notice, ” said IJN in a statement.

It is also providing complimentary home delivery of medications for patients who wish to re-schedule their appointments or patients who are unable to make it on the scheduled date.

Patients who wish to request home delivery for medication should contact +603-2617 8844 to check eligibility of the complimentary service.
