KLANG: Following the Health Ministry's revelation that six Malaysian Covid-19 cases were linked to a religious event at a mosque in Seri Petaling, the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) has banned all such activities in the state.
In a statement issued Friday (March 13), Jais director Shahzihan Ahmad said the temporary ban on all tabligh (religious) events was based on the Health Ministry's advice.
