Perikatan, GPS lawmakers seen making their way to Seri Perdana ahead of Cabinet announcement

PUTRAJAYA: Lawmakers from Barisan Nasional, PAS and Sarawak's GPS are making their way to Seri Perdana as the Prime Minister is set to announce his Cabinet line-up.

Among those spotted are Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein (Sembrong), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob (Bera), Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (Ayer Hitam) and Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan (Kota Baru).

Gombak MP Datuk Seri Azmin Ali and Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin, who were sacked from PKR and have since joined Bersatu, were also seen entering Seri Perdana.

It is understood that the MPs were notified of the meeting late Sunday (March 8).

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin arrived at 3pm.

He is expected to announce his Cabinet line-up at 5pm on Monday (March 9).

Earlier, the Prime Minister had an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to seek his Majesty's consent to appoint the Cabinet members.
