Sabah opposition parties unite under Anifah while Kitingan joins Perikatan

KOTA KINABALU: A move by Sabah opposition parties to merge under the leadership of Datuk Seri Anifah Aman is going ahead despite a key architect of the proposed coalition - Sabah STAR president Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan - dropping out.

Three local parties will dissolve and merge under Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan) that will see Anifah emerging as the party president once all dissolutions and paperwork is in place.
