Kadir: New govt must respect power of judiciary, allow trials of Umno leaders to go on

PETALING JAYA: The newly-formed Perikatan Nasional coalition government should respect the power of the judiciary and allow the trials of Umno leaders to proceed undisturbed, says Bersatu supreme council member Datuk A. Kadir Jasin.

He hoped talk that cases of Umno leaders would be dropped under the leadership of Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin would remain mere speculation.
