Teacher cheated of approximately RM122,500 in Macau Scam


SIBU: A teacher was fleeced of RM122,502 when scammers threatened her by saying that she would be arrested for money laundering and drug trafficking.

Sibu OCPD Asst Comm Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said on August 6 last year, the 56-year-old female teacher received a phone call from a man who identified himself as a bank officer from Seremban.
