The Finance Ministry said in a statement on Friday (Feb 28) that the price of RON97 will increase from RM2.38 per litre to RM2.40 per litre while the price of RON95 will stay at RM2.08 per litre.

The price of diesel will decrease from RM2.14 per litre to RM2.13 per litre.

It added that the estimated subsidy to be borne by the government between Feb 29 and March 6 would be about RM6.12mil.
