IPOH: Six Perak-based associations are up in arms over a proposed competency certificate requirement in employing foreign workers.
In a joint statement issued on Wednesday (Feb 26), the associations said foreign workers were now required to have accreditation from the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) starting this year.
