CHINESE primary schools are now adopting the “universal teaching” method where Chinese language teachers have to teach other subjects concurrently, Sin Chew Daily reported.
The headmaster of a Chinese primary school in Petaling Jaya, who did not want to be named, pointed out that if the Education Ministry fully implemented “specialised teaching”, the teachers who were teaching the three main languages, Science and Mathematics would be overburdened.
