Bid to remove Anwar’s name from legal suits fail


PETALING JAYA: Two aides of PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim failed in their bid to have their boss’ name removed from legal suits filed by Muhammad Yusoff Rawther against them.

Yesterday, the Shah Alam Sessions Court rejected separate applications filed by Anwar’s political secretary Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak and press secretary Tunku Nashrul Tunku Abaidah to remove Anwar’s name from the statement of claim filed by Muhammad Yusoff.
