SEREMBAN: Water supply to parts of the city and several districts here will be temporarily disrupted on Feb 25, following maintenance and pipe replacement works by Syarikat Air Negri Sembilan (Sains).
The state water concessionaire said areas affected by this were parts of Seremban, Port Dickson, Jelebu and Rembau.
Sains public affairs head Norzita Ismail said consumers can expect a 24-hour disruption from 8am onwards on Feb 25.
Areas affected in Seremban include Mantin, Lenggeng, Broga, Pajam, Nilai Perdana, KLIA Quarters, Batang Benar, Nilai Industrial Area, Nilai Impian, parts of Bandar Enstek, Labu, Felda Sendayan, Nusari Bayu, Hijayu, Bandar Sri Sendayan, Sendayan Indah and Bukit Sendayan.
In the Rembau and Port Dickson areas it would include Kg Pengkalan Durian Linggi, Tampin Linggi, Linggi, Pengkalan Kempas, Pasir Panjang, Kg Telok Pelanduk, Jalan Pantai in Port Dickson, Telok Kemang, Kg Kundur Hilir, Ladang Bukit Bertam, Kg Sg Timun Luar, Rumah Rakyat Lubuk Cina Phase 1 & 2, Dataran Lubuk Cina and Kg Titian Bintangor.
Areas to be affected in Jelebu include Taman Nagamas, TamanTiti, Taman Sri Jelebu, Taman Bkt Kempas, Taman Sri Kenaboi, Pekan Baru, Mara Junior Science College, Taman PDRM, Seperi Hilir, Seperi Tengah and Seperi Hulu.
She said Sains would send out lorries to the affected areas if supply was not restored within 24 hours.
Norzita said the maintenance works at the Ngoi-ngoi and Sawah Raja water treatment plants were necessary to ensure the company can continue to provide quality drinking water.
