BALIK PULAU: A butcher claimed trial at the Magistrate’s Court here to driving his car under the influence of alcohol or drugs in a manner that caused serious injuries to two individuals, including a sports marshal who was rendered an invalid.
Tan Boon Pew, 36, is alleged to have committed the offence in Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah on Dec 9,2018 at 4.10am, causing motorcyclist Lee Foo Beng, 51, and his pillion rider, a Form Four student, to be flung from the middle lane to the fast lane.
