PETALING JAYA: Retail associations have made several proposals for the government to bolster the retail sector, following dampened consumer demand due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Malaysia Retailers Association (MRA) president James Loke and Malaysia Retailers Chain Association (MRCA) president Datuk Seri Garry Chua have called for the government to introduce a temporary measure to slash the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) contribution for workers by 3% to put more cash in the hands of the rakyat.
