First born: Malaysian wildlife authorities have scored success with the birth of a gaur.

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian wildlife authorities have scored a success when a pair of endangered gaur (seladang) delivered a healthy baby calf under its breeding programme.

In a Facebook post, the Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) announced that the pair of gaur – Citi (female) and Cipun (male) – had given birth to a healthy female calf at the wildlife conservation centre in Jenderak Selatan, Pahang.
