Court upholds doc’s acquittal over death of Zahid’s son-in-law


PUTRAJAYA: The prosecution has failed in its appeal against the acquittal of a doctor accused of causing the death of Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s son-in-law.

The prosecution’s appeal in the case of Dr Ting Teck Chin was turned down by the Court of Appeal’s three-judge panel led by Justice Dr Hamid Sultan Abu Backer, who sat with Justices Hanipah Fakirullah and Hadhariah Syed Ismail.
