Sarawak police commissioner to helm NCID from next month


KUALA LUMPUR: Sarawak Police Commissioner Comm Datuk Ramli Din will helm the Federal Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) effective next month.

Inspector-General of Police Secretariat Corporate Communications chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Asmawati Ahmad said Comm Ramli would take over as the NCID director effective March 2.

“Terengganu police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Aidi Ismail will be promoted to the rank of Comm and will take over from Comm Ramli as the Sarawak Police Commissioner.

“Federal Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) deputy director (Investigation) Deputy Comm Datuk Saiful Azly Kamaruddin will be promoted to the rank of Commissioner and take over as CCID deputy director, ” she said in a statement yesterday.She said Federal Integrity and Standards Compliance Department deputy director (Integrity) Deputy Comm Datuk Azri Ahmad would be promoted to the rank of Commissioner and take over as the Federal Internal Security and Public Order Department deputy director (Operations).

“Penang deputy police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Roslee Chik will take over as the Terengganu police chief.

“Logistics and Technology department deputy director (III) SAC Datuk Abd Razak Elias will take over as the Penang deputy police chief with the rank of Deputy Comm, ” she said.Terengganu deputy police chief SAC Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid will be the new Federal Integrity and Standards Compliance Department deputy director (Integrity).“Bukit Aman CID Prosecution and Legal Division (D5) principal assistant director SAC Mior Faridalathrash Wahid will be promoted to the rank of Deputy Comm and take over as the Bukit Aman CID deputy director (Investigations/Legal).

“Kuala Lumpur CID chief SAC Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa will take over as the Bukit Aman CID Prosecution and Legal Division (D5) principal assistant director, ” she said.

Bukit Aman CID Anti-Vice, Gambling and Secret Societies Division (D7) principal assistant director SAC Datuk Rohaimi Md Isa will be the new Terengganu deputy police chief.Petaling Jaya OCPD ACP Mohd Zani Che Din would be promoted to the rank of SAC and take over as the Bukit Aman CID Anti-Vice, Gambling and Secret Societies Division (D7) principal assistant director, she said.
