SUNGAI PETANI: Remand for a suspect believed to have caused a fire at the Bedong landfill a week ago has been extended until Friday (Jan 31).
Kuala Muda OCPD Asst Comm Adzli Abu Shah said the suspect, a 35 year-old scavenger was initially arrested on Jan 24 while he was burning cables to harvest metal.
