Melaka leaders on standby to help during water rations


MELAKA: Local councillors and community leaders in the state have been placed on standby to render assistance to residents following the planned water-rationing exercise here tomorrow.

State housing, local government, environment and green technology committee chairman Datuk Tey Kok Kiew said the grassroots leaders would be also be asked to create awareness among the residents by asking them to limit washing cars or cleaning drains during the rationing period.
