Man falls on car from fifth floor of mall

A man survived a fall from the fifth storey of a shopping mall when he landed on a car driven by a woman at Jalan Kuhara in Sabah's east coast Tawau.

TAWAU: A man is in a critical condition after he fell from the fifth floor of a shopping complex and landed on the roof of a vehicle with the driver inside during an incident at Jalan Kuhara here.

The man, who is in his 50s, suffered multiple fractures on his hands and legs. He apparently survived the fall due to the impact on the “softer” landing on the roof of the car, which was driven by a woman at 12.15pm yesterday.
