Three cops charged with bribery involving over RM22,000

SHAH ALAM (Bernama): Three police officers were charged in the Sessions Court here Thursday (Jan 23) with corruption involving a total of RM22,500 in gratification as an inducement for them to release three foreign women who were in police custody last year.

However, all three policemen, N. Ramesh, 52; Mohamad Syafiq Solah, 29; and Muizzudin Muhammad, 32, pleaded not guilty to the charges that were read out to them before judge Rozilah Salleh.
