PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar has warned candidates in Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia's (Bersatu) coming party polls that there should be no golf treats, no umrah or travel packages and no abuse of power in campaigning.
The party's election committee chairman said while there was no way of separating money from politics, candidates must abide by the principles of democracy and not buy votes.
