Sex workers among 34 detained in Immigration raid in KL

KUALA LUMPUR: The Immigration Department has raided an outlet in Jalan Hang Kasturi here and detained 32 foreigners believed to be sex workers and their customers, as well as two local men guarding the premises.

Immigration director-general Datuk Khairul Dzaimee Daud said 12 officers from the department's Quick Response Team stormed into the premises at around 3.30pm on Monday (Jan 6) acting on a tip-off and own surveillance.
