Johor issues 25 notices on first day of enforcement of nationwide smoking ban

JOHOR BARU: A total of 25 notices have been issued to smokers throughout Johor who were caught puffing at eateries on the first day of the enforcement of the smoking ban.

Johor Health, Culture and Heritage Committee chairman Mohd Khuzzan Abu Bakar said that five more notices were issued to restaurant owners for failing to put up the "no-smoking" signs while one notice was issued for allowing customer to smoke on the premises.
