KUALA LUMPUR: Since the start of the educational phase of the smoking ban at eateries early this year, health authorities have issued 32,848 warning notices to offenders.
Out of the figure, 4,263 were issued to those caught smoking in dining areas while the remaining 28,585 were to food operators who did not put up the “No Smoking” sign in their premises.
