PASIR PUTEH: The current monsoon season has brought an unexpected windfall to coastal fishermen in Kelantan in the form of an abundance of shrimp near the shore.

With flood waters receding and clear weather ahead, fishermen in Tok Bali and Bachok here have been steadily earning between RM200 and RM600 daily by catching shrimp of various species, beginning this week.
