Two suspects in kidnapping case shot dead in shootout with cops

MERSING: Two male suspects are believed to have been killed after a shoot-out with the police at a plantation here, just a few kilometers away from the district police headquarters, reportedly after a kidnapping incident.

At press time, details of the incident are still not clear but it is believed that three suspects were involved in kidnapping a businessman in his 40s at about 10pm on Monday (Dec 23).
