Two famous Penang bakeries shut down after rat and roach droppings found

GEORGE TOWN: Penang Island City Council (MBPP) closed down two famous bread and confectionery bakeries after rat and cockroach droppings were found in their premises.

MBPP licensing officers, led by environmental health officer M. Bawani, raided the premises in Transfer Road and Datuk Keramat Road during the operation codenamed "Ops Penutupan Premis".
