KUALA LUMPUR: They paid a tidy sum for columbarium niches at a would-be memorial centre only to find out later that the developers were given permission to build just a funeral parlour.
“This group has been waiting to be reimbursed and about three people who wanted to have their ashes interred there had already died and had to be interred elsewhere, ” said MCA’s Public Services and Complaints Department chief Datuk Seri Michael Chong.
