KUALA LUMPUR: The government must deliver results to lower food prices so that Malaysians will see the cost of living being reduced, says former finance minister Tun Dr Daim Zainuddin (pic), stressing that there was no time for excuses.
Daim reiterated his proposal for creating income through modernising agriculture, which he said was the way forward to rejuvenate the country's growth, cut poverty as well as reduce food costs and dependency on imported goods.
