Melaka govt to investigate home for disabled after reports of brawls, loud arguments

MELAKA: The state government will investigate a partially-funded home for the disabled in Bukit Baru after allegations of brawls and loud arguments emerged.

Melaka Housing, Local Government and Environment Committee chairman Datuk Tey Kok Kiew (pic) said the reports received on the home that shelters those with mental disabilities, including senior citizens, have shed light on the dearth of facilities to provide geriatric care for such groups in the state.
